Walk-in Hours

Get one-on-one answers to your questions about the university, our programs and services, and the admissions process. Come in Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., (excluding university holidays) on a walk-in basis for assistance. Just check in at the lobby of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, located on the ground floor of the Mitchell Building. Attending walk-in hours is not an admissions interview and does not have any influence on your admission decision, invitation to a special program or eligibility for a merit-based scholarship. We do not evaluate transcripts or provide academic counseling during walk-in hours.

If you are unable to visit us but would like to receive information about the University of Maryland’s academic programs, financial aid and campus life, please visit Request Materials to have information sent to your home or school address.

We can’t wait to meet you!
