The Terp Transfer Partnership provides a seamless process for Montgomery College students who plan to transfer to a University of Maryland degree program at the Universities at Shady Grove.

The Terp Transfer Partnership is designed to benefit you while you are still enrolled at Montgomery College and will create a seamless pathway to one of the University of Maryland programs offered at the Universities at Shady Grove. If you have at least one semester left at Montgomery College and want to gain early access to advising, workshops, and events related to your University of Maryland program at Shady Grove, the Terp Transfer Partnership program is a great option for you!

By participating in the Terp Transfer Partnership, you can take advantage of Shady Grove’s modern campus, personalized services, and convenience to home and work. You’ll also receive access to exclusive including:

  • Guaranteed admission to a top-quality degree program
  • Priority advising for classes at Montgomery College
  • Early access to academic advising at the University of Maryland and student services at Shady Grove
