Shady Grove Application Checklist

Here’s a fast way to make sure you’ve submitted all the items you need to with your application packet to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions:

1. The completed online application for Shady Grove. This application is for students with approximately 60 college credits who are interested in transferring to the University of Maryland at Shady Grove to complete their junior- and senior-level course work and earn a bachelor’s degree.

2. A nonrefundable application fee of $65, sent with your application.  If you apply on the Web, you may pay online with a credit card (We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover) or be billed by the university separately. Our website is protected by Verisign. You may also mail your nonrefundable application fee (payable to the University of Maryland). Please include your name and birth date on the check. Sorry, we cannot honor debit cards or cash.

3. An official copy of all your college transcripts, sent from the registrar of all former college(s), and official copies of Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exam results. All should be mailed to the following address:

4. A list of courses in progress (if not included on the current school transcript). A final transcript must be sent upon completion of any courses in progress.

International applicants must submit additional application materials.
