Why did you choose to attend Maryland?:
Great academic program, close to the national capital, suburban setting, large research university
What do you like best about Maryland?:
Its size – you are able to find almost any sort of group, activity, academic interest or research field here
Favorite Campus Setting?:
Campus Recreation Center!
What are your career plans/ aspirations?:
Either a professor of political science, focusing on the Middle East, or working for the State Department
What have you learned from attending a university with a diverse community?:
The wide variety of perspectives that can be gained from those coming from so many different backgrounds
What advice would you give a prospective student?:
Be open to new ideas, try new things, push your boundaries and don't be afraid to meet new people!
