Biography:
I am a proud Maryland Alum! I have been working in the Physics Department at Maryland since 1999. I am responsible for all aspects of faculty affairs including faculty hires and promotions. I am also responsible for the department's website and special events like Maryland Day.

What do you like best about Maryland?:
I love the opportunities here at Maryland. Academically, it is a top-notch institution. Besides the high-quality education, I love the athletic teams, performances and activities that the campus offers. It gives students a better overall experience.
What have you learned from working at a university with a diverse community?:
The university does an excellent job of cultivating a diverse community. There are clubs and organizations for everyone. This is a welcoming atmosphere for students who are looking for a place to fit in at a large university.
What advice would you give to a prospective student?:
Take time to explore different courses before you decide on a major. This is one of the best times of your life so enjoy it.
