Maryland Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month at the University of Maryland is more than just a cultural showcase - it is a showcase of achievements - and an opportunity to highlight long-term contributions to U.S. society. Maryland's Coordinator of Latino Student Involvement and Opportunity Hugo Nájera says there are many things to celebrate from September 15 to October 15 - but stresses that it is a time "where we continue to offer new ideas and perspectives that can benefit everyone."
