UM Adjunct Professor Wins 2006 Nobel Prize in Physics
NASA researcher John C. Mather, who is also a University of Maryland adjunct physics professor, has won the 2006 Nobel Prize in Physics for measurements of cosmic background radiation that provided a clear look at the birth of the Universe.
