College scholarship awards increase 14-fold in last decade
The Philip Merrill College of Journalism has established $9,500 in scholarship and financial aid in the last few months through four new awards. These scholarships bring the amount of donor-supported financial aid the College awards each year to more than $340,000, nearly 14 times the amount given out by the college a decade ago.
