1. Log-in: In order to apply to the University of Maryland, College Park at Shady Grove you will need to create a log-in. If you have already created a profile on our admissions website or have previously applied to the University of Maryland College Park, you may use the same log-in and password information. To create a log-in and password click here.
2. Apply: After you log-in, you will be able to access the PDF application. This application may be completed and submitted electronically. If you are applying to UMCP at Shady Grove, please make sure to use this PDF application, as the regular online application is only for students applying as freshman or transfers to the University of Maryland, College Park campus.
3. Mail Additional Materials: For more information and a complete list of items necessary to complete the application process, refer to the section “Completing the Application” on page S1. Any additional application materials should be postmarked by appropriate deadlines and mailed to the address on page S1 of the application form.
4. Save a Copy of Application: We encourage you to save a copy of your completed PDF as record of your application.
5. Submit Application: Once you’ve completed and saved the PDF, you may submit it electronically by clicking the "Submit Online" button on the bottom of page S-7 on the PDF application.
Please note: If you choose not to submit your application electronically, you may also print the PDF application, complete, sign and mail all materials postmarked by appropriate deadlines to the address on page S1.
