The University of Maryland has a Two-Part Application. The Submission of Part I will be considered your official application to the University and indicates a serious interest in applying to Maryland. Students no longer interested in being considered for admission should send a written request to cancel their application.
November 1: Part I application deadline.
Part I contains demographic and educational information and can be completed relatively quickly.
December 1: Part II application deadline.
If Part I has not been submitted, both Part I and Part II are due by December 1 (If you are mailing documents, these must be postmarked by December 1). Students who complete their applications by this date will be mailed a decision letter by March 1. Students should apply by this date for best consideration, for merit-based scholarships and invitations to special programs.
This is not an early decision program; all admitted students have until May 1 to confirm their enrollment.
