Letters and Sciences

Deciding on a major does not have to be the first thing on your college agenda. More than a third of the entering class at Maryland decides to explore several interests before declaring a field of study and Letters and Sciences gives them an academic home. We provide advising, workshops, career exploration and many important resources for those crucial first semesters. However, Letters and Sciences does much more than advise incoming undecided students. Our pre-professional advising services for premedical, pre-law and allied health help students choose courses, select appropriate professional programs and assist with the application process to professional schools.
