The University of Maryland is home to the largest public research library in the state, with nearly 3 million volumes, more than 50,000 journal titles, numerous special collections and the latest in technical resources. We are electronically linked with every computer lab and residence hall room on campus- as well as with every major library system in the world - including the Library of Congress. The library system offers unparalleled collections in its seven satellite libraries that augment the main library, McKeldin.
