College of Computer, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences

New technological tools are changing the ways mathematicians and scientists think about their own fields. One of the best ways to learn about a new technology is to experiment with it yourself. Project-based learning, undergraduate research and hands-on experience permeate our curriculum. Interdisciplinary programs like Computer Engineering, Environmental Science and Policy, and combined B.S-M.S. degrees in both Geology and Mathematics allow students to expand their knowledge of a field and build a skill set that will prepare them for the changing career environment.
