Our Education Abroad program sends more than 1,500 undergraduates each year to over 60 international locales, including Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Milan, Moscow, Sydney and Tokyo.You can study abroad for a year, semester, summer or winter and globalize your network, expand your perspective and get skills critical to your success at Maryland and beyond.
Through Education Abroad, you can study abroad even before arriving on campus through our Freshman Abroad programs. Head to a fascinating place like Norway, Grenada or China during the summer before your first semester as part of the Terrapin Take-Off Program. Or, through the Destination London program, you can begin your education in the fall by traveling with other Maryland freshmen to one of the world’s most exciting cities and take courses and earn credit toward your degree.
